Corrections Policy

Last updated: October 24, 2026

Accuracy matters to TDPEL. Readers should be able to identify and report errors, and substantive corrections should be explained rather than quietly obscured.

How to request a correction

Email tdpel.com@gmail.com with “Correction Request” in the subject. Please include the article URL, the exact statement in question, the reason you believe it is wrong, and any trustworthy supporting sources.

How we review reports

We examine the issue and may check primary sources, contact the author or seek additional information. A disagreement with an opinion alone does not establish a factual error. Where a factual error is established, we aim to correct it in a manner proportionate to its significance.

Types of changes

  • Minor edits: Grammar, spelling, layout or clarity changes that do not materially alter the meaning may be made without a formal correction note.
  • Substantive corrections: Material factual errors should be corrected in the article with a dated explanatory note where appropriate.
  • Updates: New developments may be identified as updates, especially when they change the interpretation of an earlier report.
  • Removal: Content may be restricted or removed when legally necessary or when publication creates a serious and unjustified concern. This is assessed case by case.

Transparency about initial content
